Introducing: Greensburg Catholic’s 2015 senior, Lauren.

“So working with my lovely soul sister Merritt, she’s unlike any photographer out there. Which is what makes her, her. She creates these visions in her head for your shoot that are utterly phenomenal. And believe me I am a very picky person when it comes to my pictures, but she fulfilled everything I wanted even more. You feel as if you are a real model when she had Gigi come to your house and do your makeup and hair. Which by they way is always amazing when done by Gigi. I expected for it to be awkward honestly because I had never met Merritt until the day of the shoot and I was freaking out. But when I met her she was the easiest person to talk to and made you feel completely confident in your shoot, guiding you through everything. My favorite thing about working with mlp was how comfortable your were with them, and how easy they all were to relate too. And how to Merritt it wasn’t her just taking your pictures then leaving. It was so much more, she had so much passion throughout the whole shoot wanting you to have the PERFECT picture. Which to me is hard to find in photographers let alone people. “My personal style? I would say I have a boho-chic style. Also a very Californian style. I love flower crowns but at the same time a leather jacket. I believe I have my own kind of style which is what makes me, me.”

“When people look at me I hope they first think that “she is a fashionista”. But also that they feel as if they can come up and start a conversation with me without judgment. So I want them to feel trust and happiness when they see me knowing I could be a friend to them.”

“I love to sing and play the piano. But it seems like I always get too nervous to tell people I can sing or to perform in front of anyone. So mostly I only do it in front of close friends and family.”

“Who do I look up to most? My mother, especially for dealing with me, but also being the one who pushes me to the person I can be. Always believing in me through my failures and success.”

“I believe what inspires me is the unknown and having that want to find out more. The constant search for something new and something adventurous inspires me. I’m excited about my future because the world is at my finger tips. I want to live in LA and study business and fashion which is a dream that I hope to pursue. At the end of my life I hope to accomplish many things. But mostly happiness, I want to be able to go home with a steady job which i love, with a loving family. With happiness and love I would feel as if I accomplished everything I needed in life.”
